Setting Up Outlook Express 4 for Windows

The following instructions assume that you have a proper installation
of Outlook Express 4 and a Logonlv Internet account.

- Open Outlook Express.
- If prompted to choose a Setup Option:
Select I already have an Internet connection set up on this
computer and I do not want to change it.
- Click the Next button.
- If prompted to select a folder where
Outlook Express should keep your messages, click OK to accept
the default folder, or choose another folder and click OK.
- In the Display name text box, type
your name.
- Click the Next button.
- In the E-mail address text box,
type your E-mail address.
- Click the Next
button.
- In the drop-down listbox, select POP3.
- In the Incoming
mail (POP3 or IMAP) server text box, type mail.logonlv.com
- In the Outgoing mail
(SMTP) server text box, type mail.logonlv.com
- Click the Next button.
- In the POP account name text box,
type your username.
- In the Password text box, type your
password.
- Click the Next
button.
- In the Internet mail account name
text box, type a name for this email account, i.e.. Logon Las Vegas
(this name can be anything you want).
- Click the Next
button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.
- Click the Next
button.
- Select Use an existing dial-up
connection.
- Select your Logonlv connection.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- In the left frame, select Outlook
Express.
- In the right frame, click Read News.
- In the Display name text box, type
your name.
- Click the Next
button.
- In the Internet
news account name text box, type a name for this news account,
i.e.. news.logonlv.com (this name can be anything you want).
- Click the Next button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.
- Click the Next
button.
- Select Use an existing dial-up
connection.
- Select your Logonlv connection.
- Click the Finish button.
- If prompted, click the Yes button
to view a list of available newsgroups.
- If prompted, click the Yes button
to connect to the news server.
- Wait while Outlook Express downloads a list
of newsgroups.
