Mac
OS 8 Setup
The following section assumes that you have a correct and stable
installation of Mac OS 8.

TCP/IP
- Click on the Apple
and select Control Panel, then select TCP/IP.
- At the top of the dialog box, the Connect
via: selection should be PPP.
- Next, in the list box labeled Configure,
select Using a PPP Server.
- In the next three listboxes, named IP
address, Subnet Mask, and Router address, select will
be supplied by server.
- In the text box
labeled Name server address.:, erase any existing numbers and
replace them with:
216.254.19.44
216.254.19.47
- In the text box labeled Search
Domains, enter the following domain names in the order listed:
Logonlv.com
- Close the dialog box and
select Save when prompted.
Modem
- Click on the Apple
and select Control Panel, then select modem.
- At the top of the dialog box, the Connect
via: selection should be Modem/printer port for a desktop
computer, or powerport for notebooks and laptops.
- In the listbox labeled modem, make
sure your modem is selected.
- Sound
should be set to on
and Dialing set to Tone.
- Make sure that Ignore dial tone is
not selected.
- Close the dialog box and select Save
when prompted.
PPP
- Click on the Apple
and select Control Panel, then select ppp.
- On the PPP connection box, registered
user should be selected.
- Enter your username and password in the
appropriate boxes, and be sure they're in lower case.
- Check the Save password box.
- Enter the phone
number for the appropriate server in your area. This number should be
listed in your documentation from Logonlv Internet. If it's not, call us immediately
at (702) 877-8937.
- Select Connect to
connect.
